Astringent (property of tightening the tissues), vasoconstrictor, anti-inflammatory, tonic and anti-oxidant.

Uses: Traditionally used in Herbal Medicine as an astringent, to help treat varicose veins.

• Hemorrhoids, varicose veins
• Venous insufficiency
• Menorrhagia, dysmenorrhea, haematuria
• Dysentery, diarrhea, colitis

Ingredient: Organic dried leaves of witch hazel (Hamamelis virginiana).

Dosage (Adults only): Infuse a level tablespoon in a cup of boiling water, cover, steep for 5 minutes and strain. Drink 1 to 3 cups a day. Optional: add a little stevia, honey or maple syrup (to taste).
