ORGANIC MEDICINAL OILS

Medicinal oil is made from a maceration of fresh or dried plants in organic olive oil. This mixture can be heated at low temperature or heated by the sun for several hours or several days.

This maceration allows the oil to extract the active principles (molecules with therapeutic actions) from the plants. Different parts of plants (handpicked) can be used; Flowers, leaves or roots. After maceration, this mixture of plant and oil is pressed and filtered.

Its uses are topical (on the skin) only. "Not to be confused with essential oils" although these can be added to a mixture of medicinal oils.

ORGANIC OINTMENTS

An ointment is made from medicinal oils to which are added beeswax and/or shea butter to solidify as an ointment. To this mixture, it is possible to add other ingredients such as vitamin E, essential oils, etc., depending on the therapeutic aim.
