Actions: Blood depurative, anti-inflammatory, anti-tumor, immune stimulant, antiseptic; Antibacterial, antiviral, antifungal, antiparasitic, febrifuge, astringent, light anticoagulant, antioxidant, laxative and light diuretic and relieves the pain of rheumatism.

Indications: Traditionally used in Herbal Medicine as a blood purifying agent (to help relieve the symptoms of skin diseases such as eczema, psoriasis) to help relieve symptoms associated with minor upper respiratory tract infections such as fever (febrifuge), Sore throat and mild cases of fungal infections and rheumatic pains.

• Effect on viral infections (herpes I and II, colds, flu, chronic fatigue syndrome).
• Anti-tumor (Recently, its field of application is still being researched, particularly in the field of cancer, including leukemia, lapachol has shown an interesting activity on cancer cells. 

Ingredients: Pau d 'arco (Handroanthus impetiginosus / Tabebuia impetiginosa), inner bark (wild picking).

Dosage: Infuse 1 full tablespoon in a cup of boiling water, cover, steep for 5 minutes and strain. Drink 1 to 3 cups a day. Optional: add a little stevia, honey or maple syrup (to taste).

Duration of use: May be used in the long term if prescribed in the recommended therapeutic dosage.

Cautions: Do not use during pregnancy or if you have blood clotting disorders. Consult a health care practitioner before use if you have an autoimmune disease or if you are taking immunosuppressive medicines or if you have to undergo surgery because Pau d'Arco may increase the risk of bleeding.
