ORGANIC TONGANAGAON ASSAM BLACK TEA

Origin: India, Assam region. Tonganagaon Estate is a small tea garden located near Namdapha National Park in the mountains of northern India, it is one of the most biodiverse areas in all of India.
Aroma and flavor: Black tea generally has a stronger flavor than less oxidized teas (green tea). Tonganagaon Assam tea has a silky texture with light notes of spices and malt and some toasted nuances and a lighter astringency compared to other black teas from the region.
Production: The mastery of black tea manufacturing has been refined over the centuries and consists of letting the leaves wither in the open air, then crushing, tearing, curling them, preparing them for fermentation, carefully controlling the temperature and humidity. Finally, the leaves are dried with heat to stop the oxidation process, then sorted and classified according to their size, then packaged.

Preparation: As an infusion, steep 2.5 g (1 teaspoon) in 1 cup (240 ml) of hot water at 100 ° C, for 3 to 4 minutes 2.5 g. Steep for two minutes or more for a more full-bodied flavor. Enjoy it black or add to taste; a little sugar, a splash of milk or vegetable milk.
