Indications: Vermifuge, antifungal, antiseptic, carminative, emmenagogue, choleretic, cholagogue, antiputride and insect repellent.

The name of tansy comes from the Greek "immortal", it preserved meats from putrefaction and was part of the mixture of herbs to embalm the dead, so it is an excellent antiputrid plant. Tansy, like mugwort absinthe also contains thujone, it is also effective against several types of parasites, among others; nematodes, pinworms and roundworms.

Uses: Tansy is traditionally used Western herbal medicine as an anthelmintic, particularly for nematodes pinworms and roundworms.

Ingredient: Organic Tansy (Tanacetum vulgare) herb top (leaf and flower).

Herbal tea dosage: Infuse a level teaspoon of this plant in a cup of boiling water, cover, infuse 3 to 5 minutes and strain. Drink 1 to 2 cups a day.

Duration of use: Do not take in large doses or for a long time, no more than 2 weeks at a time.
