Actions: Immunostimulant, anti-influenza, bronchodilator, mucolytic, antiviral, febrifuge, diaphoretic, sudorific, analgesic, lithotritic, depurative, diuretic, antioxidant and anti-inflammatory.

Uses: Used in Herbal Medicine to induce sweating (diaphoretic) to help relieve fever (in colds, or the flu) and to help relieve cold and flu symptoms (such as cough, pain throat and excess mucus from the (upper) respiratory tract. Also used in herbal medicine as a diuretic, as a depurative / alterative (to help eliminate waste accumulated through the kidneys, skin and mucous membranes). Good source antioxidants.

INDICATIONS:

• Fights infection and relieves symptoms of colds and flu.
• Reduces mild febrile states (diaphoretic/ facilitates sweating).
• Shortens recovery time for flu sufferers.
• Dries and tones the mucous membranes lining the nose and throat, reducing sneezing, itching, and a "runny nose" in conditions such as colds, allergic rhinitis and hay fever.
• Relieves chronic sinus infections, bronchitis, pleurisy and middle ear problems.
• Diuretic (water retention / edema).

Ingredient: Organic dried fruits of black elder "Elder of America» (Sambucus nigra).

Dosage (Adolescents and adults): Infuse 1(1.5g) to 2(3g) heaped teaspoons in a cup (250ml) of boiling water, cover, infuse 10 minutes and filter. Drink 1 to 3 cups per day. Optional: add a little stevia, honey or maple syrup (to taste).

Dosage :

Children from 2 to 4 years old: From 0.217g to 3g / day

Children from 5 to 9 years old: From 0.325g to 4.5g / day

Children from 10 to 13 years old: From 0.650g to 9g / day

Adolescents from 14 years old to Adults +18 years old: From 1.3g to 18g / day
